WELCOME

An introduction to our school from Daljit Bansal, Head of School, and James Dawson, Executive Head Teacher. 

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school and to our website.

We are a two form entry school, based across two sites: Churston Avenue and Kirton Road.  Although we are based on two sites, we are very much one school community, where children are known, valued and supported to thrive. Our shared values, caring ethos and commitment to learning bring us together to create a happy and vibrant place for every child.

The greatest part of our school is our children, they are welcoming, confident and thrive in a culture of collaboration and respect. They are at the heart of every decision we make and our goal is to support them in feeling safe, valued and to become confident lifelong learners.

Our caring team of staff work hard to provide a rich, vibrant and varied curriculum which enables our children to 'make every moment a learning moment'. Our curriculum educates and prepares our children for the wider world as well as motivates our children to become independent, reflective and confident learners.

Our school is at the heart of the community, our staff know the families well and want the best for every child. Parents and carers value the kindness of staff and all they do for their children.

We hope this website will help to give you an insight into what life is like for members of our school community.
